How to Unlock Palm Pre Plus

How to get an unlock code for Palm Pre Plus

In order to unlock your phone, we require your IMEI number. You can find this by pressing *#06# on your phone as if you are making phone call.
Your IMEI number is always 15-17 digits long.

Palm Pre Plus Unlocking Instructions
1. Turn on phone with not allowed SIM card
2. Phone will ask for network unlock pin (referring to the unlock code).
3. Enter pin number once
4. Phone states SOS only calls – when you try to make a regular call it will ask for the network unlock pin again. At this point no matter how many times you put in the pin. It will state incorrect pin message.
5. Reboot phone with the same not allowed SIM card.
6. After reboot, it’s unlocked and never asked for the network unlock pin again.
I’ve had my Pre because shortly right after launch and am glad to find (through this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can lookup by way of e-mails and such. Now is there any hope for an upcoming release by which I can seek my calendar? Would make my work significantly less difficult, discovering dates of last appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I was in and out of Sprint assistance (not unusual). I believe I had been roaming, and looked at my calendar. Anything in the calendar was one particular hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was 1 hour early as well. I had been frightened to death–then, when we got back into Sprint support yet again, anything was normalized. Has this happened to any person else?? Searching forward to answers, but please keep in mind, I’m no techie and speak English instead of technospeak.
